Vinny Gallagher, together with brothers Davide and Ciro Lubrano Lavadera, are the power behind Pizzata Pizzeria, committed to creating outstanding pizzas. Our journey began at the 2019 Pizza Expo, where Vinny won the prestigious Neapolitan Caputo Cup. This win sparked numerous trips to NYC, blending old-school with modern techniques, and shaping our pizzeria's philosophy.
Pizzata emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic with a mission to redefine industry standards and elevate the art of making pizza. Vinny's passion for pizza sparked at a young age, but it was only after traveling to over 45 countries and spending 20 years away from his hometown of Philadelphia that he truly discovered his calling.
Vinny began his journey at the renowned Del Popolo in San Francisco, where he honed his craft under some of the best in the industry. His dedication to naturally leavened dough has earned him accolades and a loyal following. Vinny's dough is praised for its crispy crusts, flavorful chew, and lingering roasty tang.
Together with Davide & Ciro, they are committed to inspiring and advancing the pizza industry through community engagement, competitions, and pizzapreneurship.
