mirko
d’agata
Born in Turin, northwest Italy, Mirko has always been interested in food. His parents are both of Sicilian origin and, from an early age, he was made aware of the importance of eating quality food.
Throughout his youth, Mirko worked in several pizzerias, bakeries, and restaurants around the world. It was in 2012 that Mirko left his native Italy to settle in Canada and work with the highly reputable Bottega team in Quebec.
A few years later, Mirko joined the ranks of Pizzeria NO.900 as executive chef. He brought to this Quebec concept the little extra touch of Italian authenticity; it was the vision of Alexandre Brunet, CEO of NO.900, that attracted him to this position. “I thought he saw really far. Alexandre really wanted to restore value to the profession of pizza maker and develop the quality of a chain of pizzerias. I wanted to make sure that we remained artisanal.
