
CIRO LUBRANO
LAVADERA
Born in New York and raised in Napoli, Italy, Ciro has been making pizzas from a very young age in his father’s pizzeria, where he worked in every station throughout the restaurant while learning every aspect of owning and running a business. Upon his return to the U.S.A., Ciro became an operating partner for the Lamberti’s Restaurant Group. With his ability to lend an authentic European flair, he joined the LaScala’s Restaurant Group as an operating partner and general manager.
In 2020, Ciro and his brother Davide met Vince at the Pizza Expo Competition, and with their mutual love for the pizza craft, they decided to open Pizzata Pizzeria in Philadelphia. This naturally leavened pizzeria would win many regional merits and awards, paving the way for their second location in South Philly. The three business partners are now in the process of opening a dough facility production in their adopted city.
When not working, Ciro can be found spending time with his lovely wife and two sons.
