Pizza Crew founder, Ciaran Kelly, is proud that Pizza Crew has won multiple accolades for best Pizza on numerous occasions over the years and was honored to be awarded as the No. 1 Pizza chain in the north of Ireland. He attributes this success to the amazing teams in all stores.   “They are the heartbeat of the business”, he said.

Ciaran, originally from Belfast in the North of Ireland, started making pizzas at the age of 17 and has been in the game ever since. He has been a consistent employer in the North of Ireland, ensuring a steady income for hundreds of people and their families.

In the beginning, it was just Ciaran chasing his passion for pizza with exceptional service. Fast forward to today, and he has gone from a few employees and one store to a crew of 60+ staff and four locations, with more expansion on the horizon.

He is a huge supporter of the local communities where his stores are located and regularly provides support to numerous sports teams and charities. He’s a proud advocate of his “Pizza Hero workshops” for children with special educational needs, which he delivers himself.

Ciaran is a proud proponent of pizza making and will always encourage young people to consider it as a rewarding career, particularly women. He’s blessed with 2 daughters and would love to pave the way for them to continue in the business.  He’s proud to note that Pizza Crew has one female store owner and 30% of his staff overall is made up of women.

He has travelled the world learning from the best in the business and contributes a lot of that to his success.
