For fifteen years, Kid McGuire and his wife, Ellen, operated a small wholesale bakery in Augusta, Maine where they made French Bread and Croissants and other baked goods for area restaurants and shops. In that period, they produced over 125,000 loaves of French Bread and over 100,000 croissants. Kid has made pizza for over 25 years. He produced and was the host of "Don't Look In The Kitchen" -- a TV cooking-show series shown on a local channel. He was also the co-host ( with Ted Fishman) -- of a local TV cooking-show series called "Half Baked."

Kid McGuire is a college professor at a small college in Maine where he teaches law and business. He is a painter who has exhibited his paintings at exhibitions around the United States and in Mexico.
