Dominican Republic: Pizzarelli Pizza Tour

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - World Pizza Champions team members Michael Shepherd of Michael Angelo's Pizza, Tony Gemignani of Pyzano's Pizzeria, Joe Carlucci of Famous Joe's and Siler Chapman of Pizza Works recently spent a few days in the Dominican Republic capital of Santo Domingo. The team was on hand to help in the celebration of the Grand Opening of the all new company headquarters and commissary of pizzeria chain - Pizzarelli

Over the course of 2 days the team performed acrobatic dough throwing at St. Michael's and St. George private schools, Bella Vista Mall, Pizzarelli HQ Open House Black Tie event, and several other locations.

The team also appeared on three different television shows - Gozalo!, Chevere Nights, and Pasion Gourmet.

Dough throwing events took place all over the capital city of Santo Domingo. The team visited local schools St. Michael and St. George doing demonstrations for groups of excited children who later lined up for autographs.

Thank You Pizzarelli. From the Studios of Dominican Republic television, to judging the Pizzarelli National Acrobatic competition, to the local mall and even on the beaches of Boca Chica- the people of Santo Domingo were always warm, kind, and very friendly.
